Marshall, interesting article that certainly raises more questions than it answers.

Reminds me of the channel stuffing ostensibly practiced by CPQ until there were so many white boxes sitting at their distributors that they couldn't floor any additional inventory. And hence, CPQ ended up missing its numbers.

Could such a thing occur with CREE and C3? Well, the cozy relationship is certainly there. When I lived in Raleigh 3 years ago, I recall the hullabaloo over C3 and CREE, and both companies received all kinds of favorable press in the "News & Observer".

Just never put together the obvious - the family that plays together, stays together.
