Sorry I didn't respond to your greeting tacked on to the post to CK but, must have gotten involved in something else and let it slip my mind.
Your didn't alienate me in any way on the matter of German combat behavior. I was a bit surprised because I had always thought better of them. You hit on the real key when you mentioned "irresponsible politicians".I don't know much about your guy but, Clinton was a draft dodger and even visited Moscow on a friendly, personal mission during the chill of the cold war. Since he was a college student at the time, he had no business there. On top of that, he let his hate of the military be known early in his political career, as president he decimated our forces and effectiveness, and then sends them into a combat situation. Some kinda guy,huh???
