A nice mention of WGAT in MSNBC...

msnbc.com

This consumer-led “convergence” of the computer and television is why the month-old WorldGate Communications test in a Massilon, Ohio, cable system is being closely watched. WorldGate's interactive cable technology allows 1,000 consumers in the test to simultaneously jump from television commercials to Web sites. Recently General Motors Corp., Warner-Lambert Co., Kraft Foods Inc. and Sprint agreed to participate in a study measuring the advertising impact of this media-hopping behavior.

When viewers see a Sprint commercial, for example, they'll be able to click, visit a Web page and request the long distance service while watching TV, says Gerard Kunkle, WorldGate senior vice president.
