>>Thats some manipulation, $485,000 worth of fake trades!
:) These are completely real trades. Shares going from one person to another. But they are contrived and market manipulating trades. That is why they are so well done, if they were clearly "fake" somebody would be going to jail. But they still make todays trading look worse, whether we are up or down, it will print as two points more of a loss than we are up, or down.
RE: 200 DMA
No stock can have the same technicals forever. I think that a fundamental has changed in AOL. I feel it has lost its edge as "the internet stock of choice," while this is not a financial fundamental, it certainly is fundamental to stock price. When fundamentals change, stocks break old patterns. This is why I sold, my bet is that its time to go to a more reasonable valuation and break the 200 DMA. I wish I had sold earlier at 115, or 125 or (hehe) 177
Re: your post to Max90
Many of your posts come of as aggressively defensive and full of wishful thinking. I have no problem with the wishful part as people on the board seem to like it. But as for the aggressively defensive part... it comes off that you (whether you mean it or not) do not want to hear the negative side, and would rather not hear shorts. I wanted to shelter max90 and his ideas a little, we need the diversity and we need to listen to everybody's opinions without jabs that make them or anybody else feel that these opinions are less valuable. |
