I think "Inside the Tornado" was published in 1995. I have not read the paperback version. I do plan on getting the updated "Crossing the Chasm" paperback. I think NTAP is "inside the tornado". If we see an increase in growth in the next quarterly report (in the 80-100% range) we can be sure the tornado is underway, imo. NTAP is in a unique position. Its only real challenger for NAS gorillahood is EMC. EMC is being challenged in its own SAN domain by IBM. EMC will be doing battle with big blue and may not be able to fight on two fronts (excuse the mixed metaphors). Will EMC choose to go down market where its technology is clearly more expensive compared to NTAP, or will it duke it out with IBM where its technology is at least equal if not better than IBM's?
