TiS announced the opening of the new headquarters of TiS America located in Carlsbad, California. TiS' new offices will be able to better serve US customers in insurance, banking, government, health care, finance, transportation and other vertical markets. See: tis.co.il for more details.
TiS has won a prestigious project with Menorah, an Israeli insurance company. TiS' product will help Menorah seamlessly integrate automatic indexing into their new workflow.
Entitled “Rain, snow, sleet, manual data entry”, the leading association for knowledge management recounted TiS' innovative solution for forms processing at the Swiss Post in their recent newsletter.
See Business Solutions Magazine's June edition for an article on TiS' large scale project with SANLAM, one of South Africa's largest financial institutions. The project included processing nearly 2 million insurance policyholder questionnaires in one month.
On the occasion of DMS‘99, the European trade show and conference for the management of information and documentation (September 21-23, Germany), Deutsche Post Direkt announces the launch of a strategic partnership with TiS.

On July 5th, TiS held a sales seminar in the old city of Jaffa in Israel for potential and existing clients from the Israeli market. Over 100 guests from various banking, finance and government organizations in Israel were greeted by the company's senior personnel, who lead them through the latest developments in the field of forms processing, as well as in the company and in the new product (AFPSPro version 3.0). The event was crowned as a great success and will be followed by similar such seminars in Israel and abroad.

AFPSPro Version 3.0 new user's handbook is now available on both CD and printed formats. The handbook includes updated and completely revised information.
A new feature in AFPSPro's version 3.0, the OCR Statistics module calculates statistical data for AFPSPro forms processing, enabling the definition of any type of statistical information on the recognition of forms and fields. For example; how many false substitutes were discovered per form/field/character, percent of recognition per batch and more.
