Actually, beef no longer need be contaminated with E Coli. Titan (TTN) has developed a method for electronic pasteurization of beef and has signed many, many of the US beef processors to use it at their sites as soon as the FDA approves the recommendation for "dosage".

Sorry, I just couldn't resist <grin>.
