David,
I normally would not have taken the time to responded to your disagreeable comments and questions to me. Some of your comments are actually trivial, offensive and undeserving of response. I really do not care what your opinion of my investment objectives are and if you click on my name, my portfolio indicates my employment. As far as the question of my verasity regarding shares I purchased, it is again irrelevant as is the question of inheritance. (Parents are both well and living comfortable.)
The only reason I am responding to you is that I find your comments of your having no ties to PRST, both interesting and touching. If you have no ties to this stock, "short" why the interest in my posts and those of others on this thread. Are you searching for justification as to why you missed this one and the resulting performance of a many fold gain? If you are sincere and are concerned with my (and other PRST shareholder's) gains and losses, be assured, constructive critisism and thoughtful comments are always appreciated and needed!
My business is in fact sales...not snake oil, but financial services. I created and own my own business within the company through more than 10 years of 16 hour, 6 and 7 day work weeks. I now enjoy a multiple 6 digit income derived soley from this effort.
I wonder why it is inconcievable to you that there are those of us that do invest many thousands and can in fact multiply by 500? (Try 4000.) Does that mean I advise that you or anyone else morgtage the house to buy PRST? No, it does not. You, I believe, would lose money on this stock as you do not believe in the story here and would not take a long term hold approach to this issue.
If PRST is to become a losing bet, it has a long way to go. I have never considered my stock selection of PRST and others a way to part with my money. I can never say I haven't been a fool...can you?
My PRST shares represent a portion of my diversified stock holdings. It has by no means been the best performer. IOMG had that distinction prior to IOMG came BEAM. Most recent, the purchase and sale of OCCF - which, like Vegas, a gamble but a fine winning bet. I have never "enjoyed" the prospect of drinking although I agree, the girls in Vegas are damm pretty!
PRST Investor Relations spokesperson, Jennifer McKay could provide me no information and had no knowledge of any institutional sale of 280,000 shares, nor does she have a clue regarding the "2 million shares of PRST stock, yet to be registered in the open market." Jennifer believes you may be referring to the long completed and recorded 282,000 share private placement in February, previously unregistered, that just recently became official. If you have other information, please post or contact Ms. McKay for clarification.
For your consideration, there are currently 1090 Heidelberg Quickmaster DI's on order that will use the patented PEARL technology. 190 Etch plate kits were just shipped to present press operations. Only 5 are now in the US. (One I have spoken with personally)
Ms. McKay would not project or provide details on the NET plate income profit, siting confidentiality and the fact that those numbers are better left for actuaries to project. My impression with her reaction when I asked her opinion on a 10% net profit amount led me to believe that this was a LOW GUESS. Response "just 10%?" She continued along stating that the new process being perfected by Catalina Coating Inc. will greatly increase the present profit margin.
Also, it was interesting to hear that Heidelburg Press has developed an assembly line process to speed up the manufacturing and enhance a quicker delivery for the order back-up of the Quickmaster. Those that are not aware, other models of the Heidelburg presses are using the PRST plates as well as the Omni-Adast Sakurai Plate-Master and the PRST Pearlsetter. The reoccuring plate consumption and continued reorders will also impact the future earnings of this company in a big way. PRST states that at this time, very little of their income is represented from plate income. It is derived from the sale of the presses. Did get them to admit that the real future expectation for revenue will be from plate sales.
Dave....I sleep well every night. Actually, I find sleep a waste of time. As far a changing my name,... well, maybe my middle name...my Aunt came up with it! Must have had something on my Mother!
Don't think you will change your mind on PRST. I am afraid by the time the PE is tolerable to your preferance, the romance will be over and the price much, much higher.
Neil
PS...Would you expand on the statement regarding "the tarnishing of the wonderful opportunity we all have" If you are not short, what are you referring too, placing the money in IBM....Whopps...can't say that anymore!
PSS...I still think you shorted the stock at 150.
