Ron/All There ws a Dow Jones report today that stated Barrick drilled at least 100 holes prior to bidding for Bre-X. Apparently it was only after Bre-X discussed assaying techniques with Barrick that they felt comfortable putting in the bid. The post is on the Bre-X thread. Barrick has confirmed they did the due diligence as stated in the report. Perhaps the same outcome will come contrary to Freeport's intial reaction. Also Bre-X is holding a press conference as I write this post. Here is the post. techstocks.com Tony
