John, my read of the tape, and mind you that's more based on gut feelings than anything else, is that the character of the rallies has changed...i see some sneaky selling underneath the rise in the indices. however, i have been wrong on this before, and i wouldn't rule out that the bulls turn this thing around for a while. but these sharp interim rallies probably eat up a lot of the firepower.
