>> Buy they way, my trip to Best Buy in Syr. NY showed at least 10 TVs with Gemstar Guide Plus on the floor (up 1,000% from my check almost one year ago).

So why are we up _only_ 264% since last year? :) j/k.
Actually I would be a lot happier when I see the philips, SONY and Hitachi on the BB/Circuit city floor as well. All PROSCAN/RCAs have GMST inside, which is great news ofcourse since RCA is the biggest in the US market, but I am looking forward to the time, when all(or VCRPLUS+ like 70%) decent sized TVs have GMST inside.
I am a little disappointed by the stock performance of late, but I have held and added for 2.5 years so I am sure I can hold on. Its just ironic that when the story starts getting better known, the stock price stalls on us. OK no mo whines from me :)

btw: what's gmst's strategy in canada(AND europe)? I know they are in vcrplus in a big way there, but even with DTelecom MOU/long relation with CE OEMs we are not hearing anything about worldwide conquest :).
Perhaps, it just because just the US market is so HUGE and alone can take GMST into AOL+YHOO+AMZN class that Henry is concentrating on getting the market penetration and proving his model.
also, what's Thomson doing, talking about Interactive TV services with GMST in that article and spilling the beans. <G>
