Hi Tero,

Have you ever seen any figures which identify the percentage of European, American, Asian subscribers who are expected to be global roamers?

I'm curious because I'm not certain I understand why it makes sense for Hutchinson/vstr/ompt to invest the money in a full scale national US GSM network when their 3g evolution will be limited to EDGE in an environment where they'll obviously be surrounded by CDMA2000. The only answers I can think of are that there are enough global roamers to make it worth it,that they think very high 3G data rates is pie in the sky nobody needs this stuff technology, that TDMA and GSM will "merge" into one technology, and that GSM is still way ahead of CDMA in terms of phone/data functionality. There's also of course WCOM takeover speculation.
