Hello Mike: To me, it isn't what type of investing/trading style one adopts, but whether it's in harmony with their personality, their goals, and is prudent in regard to the size of their portfolio. People make money in all sorts of investment climates, with all sorts of time perspectives, and there are many sources of information to help one with how to operate within a given framework...but first you have to decide for yourself what it is that will be most comfortable for you. At the risk of being considered trite I'll put two quotes together from a couple of dead guys that probably sums it up better than I could, "Know yourself," and "to your own self be true."
