Susan, I am certainly one to respect your opinion. I do think that in this case you are wasting your energy. No matter how good life is now for us people living in industrialized nations due to "minor" things like the advent of steel, fuel engines, assembly lines and semiconductors, no one will convince the Amish of that. It seems to them that push carts, wooden pails and hoes are still the way to go.

I'll tell you one thing Susan, I like the fact that one farmer with one tractor can feed 100x more people than one with a mule and a hoe. Furthermore, I can't say I'd trade my fully loaded Dodge truck for a push cart. And in the end, things get done by the movers and shakers of this world - thank God GNET's team doesn't see life through the lenses of the Amish!

PS Keep up the good fight, but don't waste your energy trying to convert the Amish ;-)
