Walter:

Like yourself, I cannot except the premise that the Busang was a planned scheme from day one. Yesterday, after reviewing all of the material I had accumulated over two years, it was evident to me that the officers and geologists comprising Bre x were excited by the find. An article by Felderhof published in 1993 was very professional in its documentation of the recent history of Indonesia and its mineral potential, particularly in Kalimantan. I also cannot except that in the past two years virtually every mining professional of note has visited the site and not become suspicious of what they saw if indeed the Busang is not real.
While I am not a geologist, I myself have visited sites in South American in which geologist working the land pointed out to me rock formations amendable to gold mineralization that permeated the landscape. It would appear to me that the labs doing the assay work would become suspicious if the results were not synonomous with the host rock. I would also think that even though the concept of salting may be relative easy to accomplish, it would be easy to detect when done a massive scale. Aside from the very rich numbers in the January release, previous drill results were very plausable. To fake them would have taken a great deal of effort.
I deal with quite a number of people in the mining business and too the person, they are astounded and cannot accept the situation as being a massive fraud.
I like yourself and everyone on this board am anxiously awaiting the responses by Mr. Felderhof, representatives of Barrick, FCX, and everyone closely associated with this project. The answer will be interesting and like yourself I agree with the probabilities offered by you in your previous note.
