Can't remember all of the details, I just remember him saying that when he told Jane, she cried...It was just a few weeks later that Jane said Georgia was one of the poorest, most backward states in the USA. I wasn't living here at the time, but I remember it wasn't well received. The Gov. said it would be hard for her to see from her "Ivory Tower". Also, if Georgia was so poor, why didn't they give money to their own state, or at least pay the CNN employees a decent salary?
