To Michael and All: Here is the latest! A lot of positive activity it appears. It may sound crazy but it would be nice for RSR to hold off reopening in light of this BREX debacle. If it opened now it would only increase selling pressures. Cochrane wishes to report that the Company has completed its investigation and submission to the Vancouver Stock Exchange on matters regarding the current suspension of its stock. The Company expects a timely conclusion to the matter. The matters regarding the current suspension do not affect the business and projects of the Company. The company's emerald project in Madagascar is proceeding and mining equipment purchased in France is enroute to Madagascar and ETA is April 11, 1997. Mining operation is expected to start late April/early May. On March 11, 1997, the Company's 80 percent subsidiary in Madagascar, Riosun Resources Madagascar S.A.R.L. entered into a joint-venture with a local partner for the exploration and exploitation of beryl (sapphire). Presently, two of the Company's directors are in Madagascar finalizing terms for the gold prospect properties.
