I hope you are proud of me. I have covered all the seems of my enormous white croquet skirt with lace (wrong side, but no matter). I have sewn period Victorian buttons on my salvation army shirt (white, with lots of tucks, and a rip which III made into a dart- and then of course I had to make a matching dart- luckily they were in a place where darts made a bit of sense). I will look like an enormous billowy lace sail, or whale, but I will send you a picture. You must never let anyone else look at it.
