Peter also went on (AT LENGTH) about how foreign investors will likely not buy up U.S. Treasuries as much, as their own economies improve. I think this is flawed thinking. There have been many occasions in the past when large foreign country economies cycled through good times and bad, and there didn't seem to be any lack of buyers for U.S. debt during their good times. Plus, with our deficits shrinking, the impact of this issue should diminish going forward.
