I have occasionally read this thread and congratulate Fred and Odi for a great display of patience and faith in following the fortunes of this company. I just thought I would let you know that you are not alone. I would have replied earlier but misplaced my ID and password - now found obviously.

Last time I communicated on Silicone Investor was re Bre X and my warnings were ignored - in fact one overly excited myopic bull commented that here was another **** wanting to piss on the party or words to that effect. However that is not my intention here - I have held the stock for several years - and still feel that it has not yet really been "discovered".

The capital is tight following the consolidation and there is scope to really fly if the quality of the 3D is seen as good enough that people would want to buy/rent a converter box. The mass market is where the gain will come from IMHO.

I would be interested in your thoughts here. I saw a real time conversion of 2D to 3D and whilst it was impressive it was sort of akin to an early hand cranked silent movie compared to a sound and motorised film recording - at least as I remember. I guess I would have viewed it as showing promise but still early days.

My guess is that much progress has been achieved as a result of the parallel leap in the processing ability of the latest chips.

This may be the key and the INTEL demo may just show this i.e. the "picture quality" may have moved from "Charlie Chaplin" to "Gone with the Wind" in about the same time frame!

Now that would be exciting.
