The company was called perphonics (sp) and they used the sony 50 or 100 cd juke boxes. The cubes were available at places like tower etc and you could record the songs you wanted onto tape. It was a few years ago.. :> and they closed shop.. guess they could nto get enough big names to sell a song for $2, you see the racket, you buy a cd for $15, most people only like 1 or 2 songs on it. The record companies figured this out. If they went with pricing single songs, they will never make the humengous profits they do with albums.
