1% is being commercially mined? Wouldn't the actual amount be a function of distance? I can derive 311 Mb/s in a Cat 5 LAN enviornment, even 1 Gb/sec under ideal conditions up to 300 feet, if I want to multiplex over several pairs. Such matters need to be qualified before they could be stated with any assurance.
