Hi,

I agree completely with you. I just need a little reassurance
since I recently shorted Zitel and it has gone up 3 points since
then.

No one is disputing that there is a lot of work to be done
with respect to Y2K. But, please correct me if I am wrong on any
of the following points:

The Matridigm solution is only for COBOL programs.

Zitel is only one of several (how many?) resellers of the
Matridigm solution.

It's interesting how the people long on Zitel find it a good
thing when another reseller gets a contract. They view this as
confirming the technology, not as competition for Zitel! There
was a press release today about Computer Management
something-or-other (CMSX) agreeing to work with Matridigm.

Personally, I work for a software company that writes C code for Factory automation software. Our QA department already tested our
code for Y2K problems and we fixed them. It wasn't a big deal, but
our code doesn't deal that much with dates.

Do you think there will be any more news to push the stock higher?
If so, should I get out and short again when the stock is higher,
or just stay put? I hear there are some upcoming conferences on the
Y2K problem.
