This is extremely interesting. I will do some checking with the folks at ARIN, or wherever such matters would be of interest, and see what the Internet's posture is from a quasi-governance perspective re: this type of blocking behavior.

Just a thought, and a question alog these lines: Is it written into the ATHM agreement, or any of ATT's other 'net offerings that they have the right to perform such filtering practices for whatever reasons? That would make all the difference in the world, if users agree to this sort of thing blindly when signing up, as is often the case when struggling with the fine print. Any comments or additional thoughts on this or related topics would be welcome.
