I wonder if a deal like this could change the tone of the plunging net sector? I've been musing on that too. Heck, I wonder if it will change the tone of the plunging ATHM stock! Sadly, I dont think so. Not with the market in as lousy a mood as it has been lately. If economic news cant move the market positive can this rumor? I hate to be pessimistic but I think that all this rumor will do is halt the bleeding in ATHM (if even that). The market is screwy enough that the news could tank AOL and take the rest of the nets down with it. Remember a few days ago when people said YHOO was dropping because AT&T might be lowering access rates? Made tons of sense. Eric
