I thought very briefly about a Yahoo! takeover of @Home some time ago, but I figured they would pursue broadband on their own. After @Home snatched up Excite, I thought the battle was on. I had essentially ruled out a takeover in my mind.

If true, this is huge news. This would up the ante for the entire internet industry, and Yahoo! could become one of the most powerful companies in the world. Came public just a few years ago. The internet truly has rewritten the rule book.

I suspect the I-Nets rally tomorrow. Not a bad time for a CKFR/YHOO announcement, although it might get lost in all the other hype.

I cannot even get into the BW website. Thanks for the post.
