Back in September 1995, Lattice had pointed out in their 10K report that they may have a future problem in obtaining semiconductor waffer supplies through 1997. They had not obtained a 2nd source. However, by November 1995, they entered into an agreement with UMI of Taiwan which guarantees them all the waffers they will need.

The market sold off five points when the news was picked up in their 10K report, but after talking to the company and in other press releases, they obtained the waffer contract.

As I stated in my previous posts, LSCC is poised for very good growth going forward and have an installed base with steady consistant income from their low density business line. LSCC is a safer play than Xlynx or Altera and will grow at 20% per year and now sells at 12 PE based on next year's earnings.

Hope this helps.
