Jeepers, no posts since 18 May? Helloooooo ooooouuuutttt theeeerrreeee.... <g>

DMRK closed today @ 6 1/2...that's only 1.2x its book (liquidation value). I have some knowledge of the company, and though I don't actually think much of either their 'old' business (catalog retail: market saturated, low margins, downscale reputation of the brand, very late to the e-commerce game) or their 'new' one (membership services: low barriers to entry, high customer churn, unproven long-term profitability), I wonder whether at this price DMRK is a good speculative buy based on the possibility that it could be acquired for its world-class distribution/fulfillment infrastructure and/or its 10M+ name customer/member database. Seems like a big e-tailer could buy them out of petty cash and have a strategic gem on their hands, even if they sold off the brand name and catalog 'division' soon afterwards.

Opinions?
