Maybe it'll be okay. It does seem glacier-like in inevitability.

If the deranged Mark Barton is, indeed, the man who tried to sell his kidney on SI (you were speaking of the cheering and other effects of money), I wonder if all those deaths would have happened if he had succeeded in making the macabre sale. Or if he'd won the lottery. If something along those lines had happened to lessen his desperation.

I'd better go to bed, really. My mood is just so dreary.
