B: Alloy Online Announces Marketing Agreement With Excite@Home

NEW YORK, Aug 3, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE via COMTEX) -- Alloy Online, Inc.
(Nasdaq: ALOY) today announced a marketing alliance with Excite@Home,
in which Alloy will receive advertising and promotion on popular teen
areas on the Excite.com and Webcrawler.com sites, including Teen Chat,
Movies and Music areas within the Entertainment channels, as well as
placements on the Excite and Webcrawler shopping channels. Alloy will
provide Excite@Home with advertising and promotion on www.alloy.com, in
the Alloy catalog and in Alloy E-Zine, the company's twice-weekly
electronic magazine. In addition, Alloy Online will be a preferred teen
content provider for the clothes department of the Excite.com Shopping
channel. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Commenting on the announcement, Matthew C. Diamond, chairman and chief
