CL99U crude oil would, IMHO be the second most important independent variable to follow w.r.t. cost of kapital, being a generalized proxy for "energy". Oil affects OIX.X directly, and CEX.X and OSX.X indirectly. The "rig count" (widely followed in Houston and Denver) is perhaps a better, fundamental indicator for the OSX.X kapital flows of the funds... you have the best data for that. Thanks to some friends in the sandbox, we now know what US99U thirty year bond futures looks like. Yesterday my STOP LIMIT trigger for MTC was hit, and it was a toss-up between T and GE. I got 1x position T @ 51-1/4 and have 2x @ 49-5/8 set right now. gonna be downtown all day so, have a fine day, Berney et amis. -Steve
