Barrick probably can't say anything. They would have signed a confidentiality agreement to drill at Busang, much like when an oil company lets another company into it's data room during a takeover.
For Barrick to release any information about Busang would be
unprofessional since they must protect their shareholders by staying
as far away from this mess as possible.
