That pop this morning was probably counter-FUD induced: Cyrix dead? I've received reports that the Cyrix-Via deal fell through and Cyrix will be closing its doors. Disclaimer: I have not been able to confirm or deny this, so for the time being, file this under "R" for rumor. -Gonzo ars-technica.com
