for the purpose of discussion (i.e., no reason to believe it has legs,) IBM. Another unrelated fact, but to make the point, when Mr Eric Schmidt was named NOVL CEO, it is said that NOVL - yes, the long depressed NOVL - has $1B in cash. If NOVL has that kind of money, it is not difficult for a Fortune 500 (or Euro equivalence) to come up with that kind of money. Of course, the takeoverer can also issue bonds.
