Maybe the volume will pick up if we have a big downturn. OLB's collect bucks as people sell on the way down as well...Then we'll mysteriously here reports about the increase in trading volume in a while...of course trading volumes are down in the summer...when haven't they been. Today is another day for loading up, which I just did at just under 25. I know it hurts, but does anyone out there really believe that trading volume will remain this low for the next 6-12 months. If you don't believe so, then I think that many will eventually buy on the dip (next couple of days) as this is realized. If there had been some fundamental news that customer base was down, etc. then I might be concerned. But some analyst telling us that people aren't trading as much in the summer is not really news. Hell, Bob "P*ssant" Pisani has been whining about "anemic" (would somebody get him a Thesaurus) volume 20 times a day on CNBC for quite a while.
