Hello Mr. Babb: WCAP
Looks like it is rationalizing. Should be reporting soon. Closed end fund with around $6/sh in assets. Very marginal 'deal flow'. Availability of shares has been easy recently. There is an SI thread about WCAP. Tom Hua does a decent job of putting together their specific holdings. I expect them to report a loss this quarter with the quarter to quarter mark down of their Internet company holdings. The WCAP longs hoped for a CMGI-like era to materialize. I believe it would be in the interests of the few folks that run WCAP to sell their 2M shares rather than hold them, which is going to be tough to do in the falling trading volumes.
Best regards,
m
