trion12, you are asking the wrong question.

Trade prices mean nothing. What were the bid/offer at the time of your order activation?

If the bid was 71 3/8 or less, a thousand trades could have gone off at 71 7/8, and you weren't owed a fill at that price.

Unfortunately, Datek is unlikely to give in to your demands, because you have shown your ignorance. Ask them not just for time and sales, but bid/ask. IF the bid was greater than 71 3/8 from the time your order was activated to the time it was executed, then you are owed a fill at the bid. Demand that, and you will probably get it.
