Well, I am not saying no one can afford $5B cash (Msft has over $10B cash for that matter). My point is that none of the likely host would have that kind of cash: lucent, asnd, usrx, coms, ... IBM? I don't think IBM would make a multi billion dollar takeover to enter the telecommunication market. anyway, i do think it is a good combination for asnd to take over cscc. but asnd management are cheap!
