J,
I looked too, haven't found anything webwise...

To All:
What's the scoop on IBM's RS/6000 FC switch? It's 1 Gb/sec, supports half-duplex Class 1 and full-duplex Class 2,3, Intermix. I just don't recall hearing much if anything about it. IBM seems to be popping up in more FC news. This, coupled with Ancor's historic relationship with IBM makes me want to track IBM's FC moves closer. I believe Ancor is using an IBM fiber optic transceiver in their switches. Also Ancor recently upgraded or released new(?) AIX drivers. O'Hara either on the conference call or at RS conference (I don't remember which) said IBM was very interested in the Hucom FC CAD/CAM installation. I thought SGI workstations were being used in the installation, now I see from today's press release that IBM is in there too. Any comments/guesses on IBM's FC plans will be appreciated (at least by me <g>)
