TigrSoft wins Cla-Val account TigrSoft Inc TGF Shares issued 22,010,000 Jul 30 close $0.385 Tue 3 Aug 99 News Release Mr. Dilip Kembhavi reports Cla-Val Co., a valve manufacturer, has entered into an agreement to purchase and install TigrAPS, TigrSoft's advanced planning and scheduling system for its make to stock and engineer to order plant and as a prescription for the shortcomings of its current MRP II system in Cherritos, Calif. "We built our reputation on the ability to address highly complex planning and scheduling problems which were considered virtually unsolvable by many software vendors in the market," commented Dilip Kembhavi, president and chief operating officer of TigrSoft. "Our success in demonstrating the suitability of our software for the requirements of Cla-Val's management aptly illustrates the robust nature of our best of breed solution," he added. Under the agreement, Cla-Val purchased a licence for TigrSoft's supply chain solution software for its Cherritos valve manufacturing plant. Implementation services are scheduled to begin Aug. 16, 1999. "Following our tried and tested rapid implementation methodology the implementation is targeted for completion and live production by the end of October 1999," continued Mr. Kembhavi. "Cla-Val plans to join the growing number of manufacturers who plan to disable the manufacturing module in their current ERP/MRP II software once TigrAPS is fully functional," he added. TigrAPS incorporates a practical blend of heuristics, mathematical algorithms and artificial intelligence techniques to generate production schedules that are not only near optimal but also practical and implementable.
