mephisto, thanks for the response. my question about magc and rambus rdram was meant to be open to the thread. i have owned sunw several times. very successfully thank you. great company frankly i never should have sold and may buy it back. i have read all of the releases re magc and decided it must use rambus as it is the only memory that will offer the bandwidth needed for the described apps. looking forward to getting the details and confirmation at the stanford hot chips conference on the 17th. unclewest
