Actually, Mobius didn't say that. But he just went into depth on Thailand and illuminated the problems faced by those countries who don't provide some guarantee of foreign property rights. Korea did the same thing and that was where I obtain the comment about how it's not like foreign companies can remover that real estate from the country, so there should be no restrictions on foreign ownership. Btw, weren't we the lucky ones in that the US was able to con those cash rich Japanese real-estate speculators into buying up US property at astronomical prices only to see them default on the loans and be forced to liquidate that very same property to US interests??
