I suppose that all have seen this by now but here again for the record, Ultratech (UTEK.O) replaces Tyco on S&P SmallCap NEW YORK, March 25 (Reuter) - The Equity Services Group of Standard & Poor's said it will replace Tyco Toys Inc (TTI.N) in the S&P SmallCap 600 Index with Ultratech Stepper Inc after the close of trading on March 27. Tyco Toys is being acquired by Mattel Inc (MAT.N), a component of the S&P 500 Index, in a friendly stock merger scheduled to close on that date. Ultratech Stepper makes photolithography equipment, called steppers, used to image device features onto silicon wafers for making semiconductors. The company, which is headquartered in San Jose, California, will be added to the S&P SmallCap 600 Equipment (Semiconductor) industry group in the Technology economic sector, Standard & Poor's said.
