The Red Chip Review.

Report date. 2/25/97.
Report Date Price (TMSR). 8 1/4
Long-term target (within 12 months). $11

RCR comments. "...Poor TMSR...The Company reports a "blow-out" fourth quarter, beating everyone's expectations (including their own), and the stock barely reacts. Of course, much of the quarter's success was already built into the stock price, as management made no secret of the fact they they were having a great quarter. Since September, the stock has run from $5 to its current level in the $8 range. Almost before management could be congratulated on a great year, the questions about 1997 started rolling in - "can the Company keep its leadership position in racing controls?" and "can TMSR actually improve on its stellar 1996?". While these questions are legitimate, we believe that the Company in fact does have a good chance to keep the ball rolling, based on an impressive base of products...".

RCR quarterly '97 eps estimates. Q1--$.06 Q2--$.03 Q3--$.12 Q4--$.40

TMSR management confirmed today they are on target with analysts' mean Q1 estimates.
