So Motorola is going to start making CDMA asics? I am confused. I thought they were making them on license to Q but were having trouble getting them done correctly. As a result they started buying Q made asics indirectly throught their Korean subsidiary Pantech. On the other hand, is this announcement that MOT is making full chipsets rather than just a smaller subset of ASICs? Anybody able to interpret the whole story here? It would be nice to know, since Smith Barney seems to be thinking that the incorrect interpretation of this info is the source of the sell-off. Tom
