Dear Ron, First I will state my position that I work with Pallaum Minerals (ase.a) I think the juniors that do not have adequate financing are the ones that are going to have the most trouble over the next little while (however long it is we do not know) - major financings are going to hard to come as the markets are going to remain volitile for a while. Fortunately however I believe there are some very solid junior mining companies out there that can still offer tremendous upside potential for 1997 - good management and a strong financial position are pre-requisites before any of us do our dd on the juniors. There are some very good companies out there right now and some of these have come off significantly so there are some excellent buys right now. These are my thoughts for the day (and what a day it has been !!!) Happy Easter everyone! Mark Crowther
