It is more beautiful to know the truth than to fear it. Ignorance is not bliss, ignorance is always impending truth- because the truth IS always out there, one has to spend a lot of energy hiding from it. Which seems silly and cowardly to me. In every case you mention- it is better to face the truth than to hide from it. There is a kind of beauty, a nobility, in that- for me anyway. Maybe not for you. I don't understand most of the people here- why should you be any different.
