July 26, 8:31 am EST - Carbite Golf Inc. Reports Record Six Month Sales

SAN DIEGO, July 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Carbite Golf Inc. (Vancouver: CAB - news) today announced that consolidated revenues totaled $9.60 million for the first six months of 1999, compared to $5.92 million in the same period in 1998, a 62 percent increase.

''We attribute the record sales to the success of our popular Polar Balanced Putter, our new advertising campaign and an increase in both domestic and international distributors of our products,'' said Michael Spacciapolli, President and CEO. ''Carbite Technology is proving to help even the average golfer enjoy the game much more.''

Carbite Golf is based on advanced powder metallurgy, which allows a molecular bonding of dissimilar materials. The patented technology permits golf club design with a ''material advantage'' that dramatically increases putter moment of inertia and maintains optimum back spin for wedges, irons and woods. The Carbite product line includes Polar Balanced Putters, CheckMate Putters, Tour Insert Wedges, Tungsten Tour Irons, and Carbite Woods. For product information contact Mike Pinckes at Carbite Golf, 6330 Nancy Ridge Dr., Suite 107, San Diego, CA 92123, telephone 800/272-4325 or fax 619/625- 0752.
