it was a market order - be happy you got as good a fill as you did - many have been screwed much worse than that on a regular basis

you also need to keep in mind how deep a queue full of sell orders datek's super-duper-ultra-sillyfast servers had to plow through

of course why it took datek almost 3 minutes to execute your sell is a whole 'nother ball of earwax
