You comment to Rarebird that Today when it hit 86 was a near-term bottom or close to it. The volume confirms it.

But not the price movement. The high volume was significant and probably had to do with people bailing ahead of AOL breaking the 200 DMA. As I commented to Greg (https://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=10805404), price movement today was not significant, less that one standard deviation below the past month's volatility. Calling tops and bottoms is always difficult. Consequently, I measure things to get something like an "objective" standard rather than wishful thinking. Though I too have traded AOL for quite a while--actually, since before this thread existed, back when the AOL thread was subtitled "will it survive"--I'm going to step aside until the situation becomes a little clearer.
